"CAVILAM"

Founded in 1964, CAVILAM is situated in the beautiful city of Vichy in the heart of France and is one of the most well-known and respected schools in France.

The CAVILAM school is also a centre for research and as such contributes to new developments in the field of teaching and learning. Expert teachers provide teaching programmes of the highest quality, bringing students face to face with the rich and varied aspects of French civilisation, past and present.

The school has a multi-media resource centre, including a modern computer room with free Internet access and e-mail facilities, a reading room, a language lab and a video room. A member of staff is always available to advise and assist in using these facilities.

Accommodation is offered with French host families - with half-board or simply bed and breakfast, or in a private University Residence, a private flat, or in local hotels specially selected by the school.

You can discover the French culture through the leisure activities offered by IS: a cooking lesson, wine-tasting with a specialist, an excursion or a game of bowls. For those who enjoy outdoor adventure, there are activities such as horseback riding, rock-climbing, biking, sailing, golf or diving. While in the birthplace of the famous painter Paul Cezanne, and surrounded by spectacular light and scenery, you can feel inspired and take painting lessons too.
