PREPARATION FOR DELF JUNIOR EXAMINATION
DELF Junior is an official diploma, delivered by the French Ministry of Education to non-native students of French to recognise the level of ability that they have achieved in the language. It consists of four levels, grouped into two stages - Elementary and Independent User, and candidates can enter whichever level suits their abilities best. A different diploma corresponds to each different level.
The purpose of each level is to assess the candidate's ability in all four skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing within the limits of that particular level. The Junior examination - which is open to students aged 9 and more - has been specially designed to include topics that relate to the areas of interest of the students.
DELF Junior Examination is more of a level assessment designed to show how well your child can communicate in French than an examination, and as such does not really require any specific preparation; however this course is designed to guide and help your child to deliver his/her very best on the big day. It is intended to complement and enhance what your child is studying in class, extend his/her vocabulary, and to provide him/her with ample opportunity to practise his/her communicative skills, and increase his/her competence and self-confidence in the language.
* Students are grouped by age and level of ability. |
