An exciting programme specially designed to promote the spontaneous and natural use of Mandarin, and boost your child’s Mandarin skills in a creative and entertaining setting!

This whole programme is aimed at encouraging your child to use his/her Mandarin skills in a fun context, while becoming so enthralled in what he/she is doing that he/she forgets he/she is actually learning and practising Mandarin.

Our action-packed Summer Immersion programme includes: songs, pretend-play, games, puppet shows, storytelling, drama, arts & crafts, and more - all performed in Mandarin around a chosen theme, with a key project to be completed by the end of each week. It offers the perfect setting for your child to develop his/her listening and speaking skills, and to become more confident in the use of the language.

This comprehensive immersion course is specifically designed to offer your child extended opportunities to re-use what he/she has previously learnt, enabling him/her to reinforce his/her existing language, and to progress at a much faster pace, while having loads of fun and a fantastic time!.

A fun-filled, stimulating theme-based programme whose main focus is to develop your child’s listening and speaking skills.

Each lesson is organised as a series of fun, interactive activities, making use of rhymes, songs, stories, puppets, games and arts & crafts, that engage your child’s mind and spirit and encourage him/her to participate actively and to build up his/her interest in learning the language.

Lessons are divided into themes with the vocabulary and different activities relating to each theme. Through this repeated exposure, the children soon remember and reuse the new words that they have learnt.

erman is used at all times, so your child is immersed in the Mandarin language from the time he/she steps into the classroom: language acquisition takes place naturally and spontaneously.

A lively and fun-filled introduction to writing Chinese characters.

Through fun and colourful Illustrations, your child will be told the story of Chinese characters and how they came to be formed, the aim being for him/her to learn how to recognise, write, and memorise simple characters. The words learned will be applied through stories, rhymes, games and activities.

The ultimate goal is to teach your child to read, and write Chinese characters, while arousing his/her interest in Chinese characters and culture.

Your child will also be introduced to the art of calligraphy.

Through exciting stories, folk and fairy tales, this fun-filled programme stimulates your child’s imagination and encourages him/her to practise his/her Mandarin and build up his/her self-confidence.

By participating in activities related to the stories, your child will develop his/her creativity and discover a real desire to communicate in more expressive ways, therefore developing his/her interpersonal and communication skills.

To add a touch of magic to the fun and excitement, your child will also have the opportunity to take part in face painting, using props and dressing up - with one key performance in our specially designed drama room at the end of the summer.

• Our comprehensive programme is available throughout the summer from 3rd July to 25th August.

• All of our courses are available 2-5 times weekly, with a choice of several morning or afternoon sessions (see enclosed time-table).

• Classes are organised in small groups of 4-6 students to guarantee plenty of interaction with the teacher and the other students, ensure greater attention to each individual student, and maximise each student's participation and progress.

• We only employ experienced native-language teachers who hold internationally recognised teaching qualification.

• We go a step further than others by only entrusting our Exam Revision classes to teachers with extensive prior exam revision experience and syllabus knowledge ; this produces the best revision results and proves highly effective in helping our students to achieve their full potential.

• All our summer courses are designed to encourage your child to participate actively in class , and to put his/her language skills to practical use in a fun, refreshing environment. The various stimulating activities provide an excellent medium through which your child can reinforce what he/she is learning in class, develop vocabulary, improve pronunciation and communicative abilities, and build confidence.

• Private or Semi-Private Tuition is also available . Lessons can be organised on the day and at the time of your choice (subject to teacher's availability), either at our premises in Central, or in the comfort of your home. We can also help you arrange your own private group
at home .

• We provide end of course progress reports and certificates of achievement.

• All our Mandarin language courses are in line with the Council of Europe's Common European Framework for Modern Languages which is recognised throughout Europe, and provides an accurate and official appraisal of one's competence.
