Our activity-based learning approach means that children are presented with a wide variety of age-appropriate activities, designed to bring the German language to life, cultivate creativity, encourage interaction, build confidence, and effortlessly develop effective communicative language. Each lesson is designed to be pertinent to the children's needs, interesting, varied, lively and fun.
Tuition is provided in an exclusively German environment so that the children are immersed in German from the moment they step into the classroom.
Our teaching method involves interactive child-centered learning. All our courses are oral and conversation-based, and use specifically designed books, HKIL tailor-made supplementary materials, and specially selected resources. Fun activities, songs, stories, puppets, pretend-play toys, language development games, audio visual aids and multimedia tools also form an integral part of our programme. Applied in the appropriate context, they provide an excellent medium through which the children can recycle and consolidate what they have learnt before, and further develop their comprehension and communication skills.
Young children learn to communicate by listening and speaking, so we place an emphasis on the spoken language, and encourage children to participate and become actively involved in each lesson.
