MY FIRST FRENCH CLASS - Beginner & Improver Levels

An exciting, fun approach to developing listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills, and bringing the French language to life.

This progressively structured course is designed around themes that your child experiences in his/her own daily life, and introduces vocabulary appropriate to your child's age group which he/she learns and assimilates through use in a variety of relevant oral and practical activities. Our aim is to encourage interaction and establish confident communication skills at an age when your child is particularly receptive, and still uninhibited by the self-consciousness which older children experience.

It is well known that the earlier a child starts learning a new language the better: they become familiar with all the different sounds; they are more confident and their understanding of the language is greater. For these reasons, this learn-through-play programme makes extensive use of rhymes; songs; stories; pretend play and drama/theatre activities; arts & crafts activities; language development games; and DVDs and multimedia tools, to help your child absorb, recycle, and retain the language . Langua ge acquisition takes place naturally and spontaneously.

The focus is on making studying French a positive and enjoyable experience, and inspiring a love for learning!
