Practical & Communicative Teaching Approach
At Hong Kong Institute of Languages, we believe that language learning is essentially about communication, and should therefore be a social and enjoyable experience. In keeping with this philosophy, our adult classes are designed to be dynamic, interactive and practical; they take place in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, providing the ideal setting for effective learning.
All of our courses make extensive use of multi-media learning tools such as audio CDs, DVDs, CD-ROMS, and the Internet, to reinforce language acquisition, and enhance the overall learning experience. |

Choice of Study Options

Private Tuition (one-to-one)
Private tuition provides you with your own teacher, your choice of schedule, choice of class location (Institute / home / office), and even choice of course content. With our flexible timetable option, you can reschedule your classes with a simple phone call if you know that you are going to be unavailable to attend.
Private lessons are available on the day, and at the time of your choice (subject to teacher availability), either at our premises in Central or at your home or office. |

Semi-Private Tuition (2-3 students)
Semi-private tuition allows you to decide on the schedule and venue of your classes, and your study partners. You can choose to form your own group with colleagues or friends, or you may ask to be grouped with other students with the same level, schedule, and language objectives. |

Small Group Classes (4-6 students)
Small Group classes take place at our Institute and follow a pre-established curriculum. Courses are arranged in modules of 20-40 lessons with fixed start and finish dates. New classes start every month, and upon completion of one module you can immediately enrol on the next level. |

Group classes are available at our centre in the morning, lunch time, afternoon, and evening, as well as on Saturdays. New classes start every month: we only need a minimum of 4 students to start a new class. |
