This course is designed to develop listening and speaking skills in a wider range of general and specific professional situations. The course includes frequent role-plays, case studies, and conversation-based activities, designed to help you relate the language being learnt to your own work experience.
Topics include: business travel; making telephone calls and arrangements; attending and managing meetings; discussing advertising; negotiating; socializing; describing trends; reporting decisions; and business letters, faxes, e-mails, memos, minutes, and short reports.
At the end of the course, you may choose to sit BULATS or the Cambridge BEC Preliminary examination.
