CHINA

Our summer camp in Beijing was a tremendous success last year: we received a great deal of praise from parents telling us how happy they were with their child’s progress, and more importantly how thrilled their children had been when they returned, and how they wanted to go back again this year! To have this kind of response from teens is a real triumph!

Other feedback that we also received was that most participants had found the trip too short, and were really disappointed not to be joining the extended trips that the rest of the students were taking, to Xian or Mongolia.

Based on previous experience, we had arranged with the camp organiser for our groups to only register for 2 weeks. Indeed, being so close to China, in contrast to all the other students, who were coming from all around the globe, we anticipated that our students would not necessarily be so interested in extending their stay in order to visit Xian or Mongolia as well. But having formed such deep bonds with the other students, both our groups were sad to have to part so soon. We are therefore happy to inform you that this year we plan to offer both the camp in Beijing, and the extended journey, for a total of 3 weeks.

This year, our group dates are:
1st group:  11 July - 31 July (including extended trip to Mongolia)
2nd group: 27 July - 16 August (including extended trip to Guilin)

With this ‘unique’ camp becoming increasingly popular, we encourage you to register now in order to avoid disappointment!

Camps in Kunming and Shanghai are also available.

ENGLAND

As usual our camps in England were also a huge success. Salisbury and Weymouth never disappoint, and students always return home delighted by their experience. With so many children going back year after year (we have been sending students to these schools for the last 12 years), they are still our most popular English camps. Last year our camps in Cambridge also became very popular. The younger children, in particular, were thrilled when they discovered that they would be staying at a school just like Harry Potter’s! Based on all the positive feedback that we continually receive, we will be offering these destinations again this year.

By popular demand, one of our staff members will be accompanying one of our groups to Salisbury this year. We are at present offering two possible options to choose from: a 2-week or 3-week camp departing on 21 July, or a 2-week camp departing on 28 July.

If your child enjoyed Salisbury, Weymouth and Cambridge, but would now like to try something new, we are pleased to inform you that we have just what he/she needs: a new camp in the Thames Valley, near London. Our new school, rated among the top 5 in the UK, achieves the ultimate balance between what you as a parent are looking for in terms of quality and safety, and what your child expects to get from his/her summer camp experience in terms of enjoyment and comfort, all the way down to the en-suite bathroom.

By popular demand again, one of our staff members will be accompanying one of the groups to the Thames Valley this year. We are at present, tentatively offering two possible options to choose from: a 2-week camp departing on 16 July, or a 2-week camp departing on 21 July. If you would like your child to join, please let us know as soon as possible. We are also pleased to announce that this year, students travelling to England with us, will now fly direct to London with Cathay Pacific rather than with Air France.

CANADA

Last year also saw an increase in students opting for our camps in Canada. This destination remains the firm favourite among those students who have been to England numerous times and are looking for a change. It is also popular with those ready for the more challenging sporting activities that the countryside of Canada offers. If your child is the adventurous, active type, then Canada is the place to go!
